"Linking Altadenans Through Technology For A Safer Community"

Altadena is part of the County of Los Angeles and is administrated by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

Altadena Community

Altadena is part of the County of Los Angeles and is politically run by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors who have executive, legislative and judicial powers. There are five members of the Board of Supervisors, elected by geographic district. Altadena is in District five, presently represented by Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich. In 1975, a group of Altadenans formed The Altadena Town Council with the help of Los Angeles County Supervisor Baxter Ward and the Pasadena Chapter of the League of Women Voters.

Student/Teacher of the Month

Student/Teacher of the Month Program 2010

Always put the children and those who teach them first; they are our future.

The first year of the Altadena Community Student/Teacher of the Month Program has come to a close. With the support of over 20 local businesses, we have recognized 63 students and 40 educators in the Altadena community in our very first year. With continuing support from the community and local businesses, we hope to continue this program in the next school year.

Altadena Town Council

The only thing that the Altadena Town Council seems to get done is to make rules that further disenfranchise the community. Is this the type of leadership we want? Are these the types of examples we want to set for the future? Make up your own rules as you go? Although I’m very flattered and find it quite laughable that the Altadena Town Council has proposed a rule to prevent me from running for office again, the bigger issue is that they are further disenfranchising the community.
